The Lanyards

“The Lanyards”
For too long the voice of distressed people has been suppressed by the power of the professional. In this hard-hitting presentation of performance poetry, music and prose, Woodsy (performance poet extraordinaire), Alun Parry (Liverpool’s answer to Woody Guthrie) and Steve Flatt offer a radically different view that is full of parody, satire and uncomfortable thoughts – that challenges the status quo.
Places are limited but we will welcome with open arms anyone who is prepared to open their minds and consider the possibilities. An evening of poetry, music and conversation about what it is to be a human being in distress, and one person’s journey out of that distress. Come and join us – because there is a different way….
Date: 16th September 7-9 p.m.
Place: The Brink, 15-21 Parr Street, Liverpool. L1 4JN
